This CPD and networking event is open to all those working in the sport and physical activity sector across South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. As yet they have no-one attending from Bradford so it would be great to get some people booked on.
This is totally free to attend and a great opportunity to hear from some great speakers.
If you have any apprentices, then there is a specific session just for them where they can meet others in similar roles. All spaces MUST be booked in advance!
Caroline Fraser, Head of Workforce at Sport England Caroline will share the Sport England vision for workforce, painting a national picture on priorities regarding the sectors future workforce.
Colin Huffen, Head of Education at CIMSPA How CIMSPA are developing professional standards for the sport and physical activity sector, and aiming to ensure our future workforce is fit for purpose.
Josh Bucknall, second-year apprentice at Club Doncaster Foundation Josh will give a first-hand account of his experience as an apprentice working in the sector.
All professional delegates will attend workshops one and two, and will be assigned workshop groups on arrival. Apprentice delegates will attend workshop three only.
Workshop 1 - Apprenticeships An opportunity to share and learn from colleagues from South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire as to how apprentices are adding value.
