Healthwatch Bradford and District have several vacancies for Enter and View (Authorised Representative) Volunteers, who will visit health and social care settings across the Bradford District to gather feedback and see how well the service is working. Enter and View is one way that a local Healthwatch can hear people’s experiences of health and social care. It involves Healthwatch staff and volunteers going to publicly funded health and social care services to assess them.
The role of an Enter and View (Authorised Representative) Volunteer is to firstly research health and social care settings across Bradford District. They then visit services to observe, listen to patients and their carers, as well as staff at the service. Volunteers also help to feedback recommended ways to improve to the service.
We are looking for people with excellent listening skills, interest in improving health and care and with experience of using or working in services. To be a successful candidate, you will enjoy things like meeting and talking to new people, empowering patients and carers and being part of a team.
