Bradford Smile Makers

Covid 19 has us ALL staying home and staying safe. For many people this is a fearful and lonely time. Community Action Bradford and District has brought together a group of professionals to work with care settings and organisations who support people amongst us who are isolated and alone. We have set up a system to send them some artwork, a little creative cheer. If you are under 18 years old, we need your help. We need all you wonderfully creative smile makers to send us some pictures! Your artwork will then be sent to people who need to know we care about them, to people who may need a little something to help them smile. It couldn't be easier to get involved, follow these 5 steps: 1) Find a piece of paper no bigger that A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) 2) Draw a happy picture, bright colours and of things that will make someone smile. Check out our 'Smilemakers' Pinterest page for ideas https://pin.it/6YbuWRA. 3) Sign your artwork, on the front FIRST NAME & AGE only (every artist signs their work) 4) Post it to "Smile makers - intergenerational Art Project, C/o Young Masters Visual Art School, Ashley House, Upper Ashley Lane, BD17 7AD. Please write your name and address clearly on the back of the envelope so we can send you a thank you certificate. 5) Smile and be proud, you are now a smile maker.
