both.

As set out in the workshop, the bids and activity that go forward will be those that could be delivered                  in the very tight timescale dictated by the CRF call. All the submissions and feedback from the                            workshop held on Monday 26th April have been considered and the two - three bids that will be            submitted by the Council will be the following:

  1. Young People’s employment support

  2. Cultural led recovery - Winter Cultural Programme & mobile app feasibility study

Based on the workshop feedback and expressions of interest, the Council will no longer submit a bid on Enterprise, Employment & Wellbeing hubs, however we are considering a bid on enterprise / business support.  We also have plans to commission enterprise support in the district – we will roll this out shortly.

A VCS infrastructure support bid is now being prepared by a VCS consortium led by Community Action Bradford & District in partnership with a  range of providers including Impact Hub, INCIC, Participate Projects and Equality Together.

Commissioning of activity in the two-three Council bids above will happen in June and July – and activity will start subject to funding being confirmed in August.

We would encourage anyone who is thinking of applying directly to WYCA for CRF funding to do so.

Please note:

WYCA request that organisations submit directly to them or as part of a consortium, but not both.
